(That’s May 15th, 1:13 a.m. Brasília time),we will experience a Full Moon in Scorpio ♏ — the culmination of the Taurus lunation, also known as Wesak (or Vesak), the Buddha’s Moon of Enlightenment..
During the Wesak Festival, the Forces of Illumination flow to Earth, enlightening the minds of humanity and supporting the cultivation of love, harmony, discernment, and clear perception. It is said to be the “Will of God” that we develop these qualities so that we may make wiser choices, help one another, recognize truth, and participate in building the New Era — the Age of Aquarius — and ultimately discover the Path of Enlightenment.
On this occasion, we will also experience another Eclipse — this time, a Lunar Eclipse.

Eclipses act as catalysts. They activate the Lunar Nodes, which connect to our past, present, and future — the threads of our karmic journey.
During a lunar eclipse, emotions can run high. Things we’ve avoided at all costs may suddenly surface, bringing intense experiences or extreme feelings into awareness.
Full Moons mark points of culmination — moments of total illumination. However, during an eclipse, because of the alignment between the Sun, Earth, and Moon, the Moon is momentarily covered by Earth’s shadow, entering a state of darkness — the penumbra and umbra.
For millennia, eclipses have been associated with catastrophes, losses, and endings — symbols of death and rebirth.
The astrologer Dane Rudhyar, one of the pioneers of Transpersonal and Humanistic Astrology, said that:
“In a solar (New Moon) eclipse, the present is blocked by the past, while in a lunar (Full Moon) eclipse, the past is obscured by the present.”
This means that our conscious perception becomes dimmed, allowing the forces of the past — often buried in the rubble of the subconscious or unconscious mind, in the form of complexes — to rise to the surface, where they can be seen, confronted, and transformed.
What may seem like a negative experience becomes a chance for integration — an opportunity to face something from the past with new awareness and new choices.
When the Sun aligns with the North Node, it symbolizes new possibilities for growth emerging from past experiences. The Sun illuminates the future, helping us find new ways of doing things.
Therefore, eclipses invite us to leave our comfort zone, to confront internal patterns, and to manifest new ways of moving forward.
Something that once seemed minor may become amplified during an eclipse — and its emotional resonance can linger for days or even months.

PThe planets receiving aspects during the eclipse indicate which parts of the personality will be most affected and which area of life (astrological house) will bring revelations or challenges.
Those who have planets near 22° of the fixed signs — Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius — will feel these effects more strongly.
I recommend that during eclipse seasons — or in any moment of emotional intensity — you turn inward.Observe your thoughts.Speak to yourself with honesty and compassion.Notice what calls for attention and transformation.
Here are some questions for reflection:
Is there any part of my life I cannot remember clearly? What emotions arise when I try to access those memories?
What aspects of myself do I hide from others or repress (natural appearance, sexuality, habits, finances, fantasies, beliefs, unusual interests)?
Which parts of myself do I dislike or believe others wouldn’t approve of?
How much of my vital energy is spent repressing this part of my life?
Do I sometimes act completely differently from my “normal” self? Do I unconsciously behave in ways that harm myself or others?
How do I react when I lose control — do I cry, shout, freeze, or run away? Do I feel ashamed if someone witnesses these moments?
Which traits do I strongly reject or dislike in others? How do I feel when I’m around such people? If I pause to reflect, can I recognize these same traits within myself?
Do I sense a repressed inner power — an instinctive wisdom — that I resist trusting or expressing?
What would it mean to embrace this power? How could it transform my life?
Do I find it difficult to live in this world, to maintain balance, to know who I am and where I’m heading?
In which astrological house of my chart are these energies manifesting?
Which planets form aspects to this eclipse, and what do they represent in my life?
